Hello Everyone

Well I didn't expect to be doing an update today - even though it has been on a very long list of things to do.

Sue and I want to thank everyone who has contacted us today after they saw they "60 Minute Makeover" repeat program.

In fact I want to thank you all for making me pull my finger out and do an update on Alex's site. The reason for the lack of updates is purely down to the work we do on the charity. It takes all of our spare time up (in between my own work and both of us looking after Alex, Mike and Jess) but it is so rewarding especially when we see how we can help the families and their children, especially when we get them together, more info about the charity can be found on the WWGF website (www.walkingwithgiants.org).

Today as a whole has been a nightmare, our so called "sweet little angel" from the moment he got up until he fell alseep (20 minutes ago), has been like "Damian" out of "The Exorcists".

He didn't have an unsettled night, he slept ok, woke a couple of times wanting to play

To give you an idea have a read of the his daily school report:

Alex had great fun playing on the scooter in the garden. He put both feet on while getting pushed along.

At lunch Alex tried some mash and was enjoying licking the sauce from the fish. Alex completed his speech activity and has been signing please and thank you all day, well done Alex.

We have had 5 incidents were Alex has pushed, pinched, and hit the other children and staff today.

He said sorry and gave cuddles straight after. His glasses have been broken today. Alex threw them on the floor causing the lenses to fall out.

Alex got a severe telling off when he got home today. He knew he had been bad, as when we explaining to him how naughty it is to hit chis school friends, he will not look at you and keeps putting his hands over his eyes. His behaviour today is not something that happens often, he can have trantums (which child of his age doesn't) but he has to know that this behaviour is not acceptable. We always worry that if a child hits him, what would happen because of his size, but then again it may learn him not to do this.

Hi everyone, hope you've had a nice day. Our's has been pretty eventful.

Alex woke up in a better mood, he was happy and pottered about paying with is toys most of the morning. Which was good, as we had a photographer coming around at 12pm to take pictures for a magazine article on us for the fortcoming "Extra-ordinary People" documentary, "Britains Tiniest Toddler's". This is documentary that was shot last year between June and December.

Well ask the wife to help me in my hour of need and what do I get - a load of stick. I'm feeling ok, still have a sore throat and have been taking a load of paracetomal to fend of the aches.  Seem to be working.

I've got to give Sue her due, she has been great and not just for putting a post on here, she got rid of a load of emails for me; and has started arranging this years "Walking With Giants Annual Convention", which is going to be held in Liverpool in August this year. ; along with arranging a s family network meeting which is being held in Nottingham during May. For any newcomers to the site, this is a charty that we set up to help other individuals affected by the same condition as Alex. More information about the Charity can be found on www.walkingwithgiants.org
